Browzine by Nicola Dowson and Helen Bowes-Catton

Browzine 2

BrowZine is a game-changer for anyone who wants to keep up on the latest research in their subject area without really trying.

Gone are the days of having to remember to check individual journals or set up dozens of email alerts.  Once you’ve set up an account, you can build your own personal bookshelf of journals from the Library’s collection, and access them on any device.

As long as the journals you want to read are ones that the OU Library subscribes to,  you’ll have thousands of full-text articles at your fingertips, wherever you are. You can browse them on your desktop PC, or download the iOS /Android app and catch up on your reading on the bus or while you’re waiting for the kettle to boil.

If you need more information, check out these short video tutorials, and get in touch with the Library Research Support Team (library-research-support@open.ac.uk ) if you need any further assistance.

Nicola Dowson is Senior Library Manager (Research Support and Educational Technology).

Dr Helen Bowes-Catton is Lecturer in Social Research Methods in the OU Graduate School.
